Applesauce Date Nut Bread

Applesauce Date Nut Bread
Yield: 12

Ingredients:
2/3 cups Butter or margarine
1 1/4 cups Sugar
4 Eggs
1 1/2 cups Applesauce
1/2 cups Milk
4 cups Flour
2 teaspoons Baking powder
1 teaspoon Baking soda
1 teaspoon Salt
1 tablespoon Grated lemon rind
1 cup Chopped pecans
1/2 cups Chopped raisins
1/2 cups Chopped dates

Cream together butter & sugar.
Beat in eggs, one at a time.
Stir in applesauce & milk.

Combine dry ingredients;
add to applesauce mixture & mix well.

Stir in remaining ingredients.
Pour into 2 greased 9x5x3-inch loaf pans.

Bake at 350 for 1 hour or until bread tests done.
Cool on rack for 10minutes.
Remove bread from pan & finish cooling on rack.
