Grandma's Rubarb Cake
Rubarb Cake
1 1/2 C Sugar
1/2 C shortening
1 egg
1 C sour cream
2 C flour
1/2 t salt
1 t baking soda
1 t vanilla
2 C finely cut rubarb
walnuts (optional)
Cream sugar & shortening, add remaining ingredients.
Sprinkle top with 1/4 C sugar mixed with cinamon.
Bake in 9 x 13" pan for 40 minutes at 350 degrees.
