Recipes from Bluesbaby

Have you ever found a great recipe online and then later when you wanted it, you just couldn't remember where it was located? This is my method of hanging on to our family recipes and others too good to lose. You may have to scroll all the way down for the archives and link sections.

Christmas Squirrel Nuts

Mini Pretzels
Rolos
Carmels
Hersheys Kisses
Pecans

Preheat oven to 300 degrees, put mini pretzels on cookie sheet, top each pretzel with a caramel/chocolate rolo, put cookie sheet in oven just until the rolo starts to soften. Remove from oven, working quickly, press a half pecan into the rolo and let cool...YUMMY! My friends/relatives request these every Christmas. We call them squirrel nuts! I imagine the author meant to use this process with the hershey's kiss then add either the mint or the reeses.

or

Preheat the oven, while the oven is heating up, you melt the kisses, dip the pretzels in melted kisses, place on cookie sheet, place a mint or reeses piece on top and then put whole cookie sheet in oven to bake.... at least that is how I did it, ( sometimes we tend to do these recipes so quickly we forget to break it down step by step.
