How much is 3/8 green peppers, chopped?

Thanks for bringing it to my attention but actually the recipe should say 3/4 of a green pepper, chopped that could translate to 1 small pepper or 1/2 of a really large one as well. I would suspect this year they may be smaller since we have had so much drought here.

I just realized that I scaled this recipe down from a larger recipe so it is 3/8 of a medium green pepper, 1/2 a small pepper, or 1/4 of a really large one. Peppers and onions are usually not precise because size varies so widely,
